Ingram House B&B, Ingram
Ingram House was built in the early 18th century as the farmhouse and it has been our family home since 2003. Situated in the Northumberland National Park and Dark Sky Park, we are an ideal base for visitors who want to explore the hills, castles and coastline. We are also on the Sandstone Way cycle route and one of the walking routes recommended by the Inn Way Walks.
We offer three rooms – a double and a twin with ensuite baths, and our Garden Room with kingsize double/twin with ensuite shower. Breakfast is taken in our family kitchen/dining room. We also offer dinner by arrangement. We have found that many of our guests like to relax ‘at home’ after a long day out exploring, or having cycled or walked all day.
In 2015 we joined the National Garden Scheme. Our garden is a never ending project and guests are welcome to wander around or use our summerhouse where they can have a cup of tea, read quietly or, given the right conditions, enjoy the amazing starry skies with the help of our telescope.
We have safe, locked, storage for bikes and plenty of drying space for wet clothes and boots.
Additional InformationWe’re open all year
From 2012-2016 we were rated 4*Silver with the Tourist Board Quality Assurance Scheme. We have now come out of the scheme because we felt it did not offer value for money, but our standards remain.
